About me

My name is Hazel Anthony. I live on two and a half acres in Langwarrin, a suburb in Victoria, Australia with my husband Dean and our cat “Missy”.

I teach from my home studio, a local community centre and also travel teach both locally and internationally.

I have had the pleasure of teaching at the American Society of Decorative Painters Conference in the USA, the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

I have been published in three Australian magazines - Australian Decorative Painting, Handmade and Australian Country Craft and Decorating. I have also been published in the American magazine The Decorative Painter.

I have met many wonderful people in my teaching and travels who all love painting in some form or other. My regular students keep me on my toes and always ask challenging questions and keep me provided with inspiration.

In 2008 I was appointed a Heritage Designer by David Jansen MDA. All my new designs are painted using Heritage Multimedia acrylic paint.
